Hi, all! I've been grinding away with the I Look Like an Investor (ILLI) series hosted by Maci Peterson Philitas, the CEO and co-founder of On Second Thought.
If you missed last month's newsletter, the mission of ILLI is to empower everyday black women to make ordinary investments that can have an extraordinary impact on their finances and communities. We bring together power-brokers and rising stars who are aligned on the topic of economic empowerment for black women.
The most recent event was in NYC last night at LinkedIn's office in midtown Manhattan. It was an amazing fireside chat and panel with Lauren Maillian and panel with Diane Henry, Fadzi Makanda, and Jaisa Minor. ILLI will be back in 2020 with more! Keep an eye out by keeping up with On Second Thought on social media.
Now onward to the most important part of this message!
I'm sending this out to let everyone know about the next two SFTech4Good events happening next week and in November!
I'll send out general goings on later.
